Recitals
Recitals build confidence: Taking part in a recital or performance helps musicians overcome shyness and stage fright. Having the ability to meet reasonable goals can also renew enthusiasm in musical endeavors, and provide motivation in practicing.
Students may arrange to perform a small recital for their family on the stage in Suite 17. Monthly recital opportunities are also available through the Wichita Guitar Society that I direct. They are held held on Second Saturdays at 2:00 PM in the reception area of the same building as my studio or, if the group is large enough, in the large atrium in the East Building which is connected to us by a skywalk. Stop by Suite 17 for the precise location posted there. Every student is encouraged to attend.
